Definition for : Current assets
GLOSSARY LETTER
Current Assets consist of Inventories, Receivables (debtors in the UK), Marketable securities and cash. This term reflects the fact that these Assets tend to "turn over" during the operating cycle, as opposed to Fixed assets, which are not destroyed by the operating cycle.
